Our new 45” standard size doors can all be built to ADA (Americans with Disability Act) standards by providing a walk thru clearance of at least 32” width with the door open at 90°, and will have no more than ¼” vertical raise in the threshold, with the exception of the Titan Series Door which has a ½” frame & threshold. In the case of the Titan Door, the ½” threshold will be beveled above the bottom ¼” to comply with ADA standards. At the time of order, you must state that you want the ADA specifications built into any and all step system doors, due to the fact that there cannot be a step system feature built into the frame at the threshold…it must be flat to accommodate wheel chairs. All handles used to open or operate ADA regulation doors will be below 48” in height and operate with less than 5 lbs. of force. ADA regulation doors can also be ordered with the lock and handle positioned at a lower height if desired at no additional charge (must be specified at time of order). Standard Texture Colors: Black, Wimbledon White, Brown, Gray, Dark Green and Burgundy.

Lock and handle as well as the internal release can be lowered and the threshold is flat, so anyone in a wheel chair can utilize the door.
